SCOPE
To educate the public regarding the activities scheduled on World Environment Day and draw attention to the main event which was the Switching OFF the lights for one hour on a global level.
The strategy was to celebrate World Environment Day with a campaign that drew attention to one simple action. Turn off your lights for one hour to reduce energy consumption and help the environment. Within this scope, a video was created featuring local bird and animal life.
The video was published on YouTube and social media and viewed thousands of times. Our efforts were supported by a Google Display Network campaign that ran in parallel, and out-of-home advertising, such as billboards. These urged the public to take action on this day and created a buzz about climate changes.
